H2 Land Company specializes in rezoning, entitling, and developing residential land throughout the Northern Virginia Area, producing finished lots to builders such as NV Homes, Ryan Homes,Centex Homes, Sorensen Construction, Brookfield Homes, National Capital Homes, Bay Homes, and Integrity Homes. The market focus is on Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William Counties. H2 Land Company currently has multiple properties under contract or owned in engineering or development and several development management contracts ongoing.

The principal officer and President of H2 Land Company, Michael Hummel, began his career in 1985 as a civil engineer with Dewberry and Davis. Through 1996, he served as Vice President for Land Development and Acquisitions for the Long Companies, producing 300 to 500 finished lots per year for internal use and outsales to other builders. Subsequently, he joined the Virginia Division of Centex Homes as Director of Land Development, managing over 55 projects simultaneously. Since 2000, Mr. Hummel has been purchasing and developing properties in partnerships throughout the Northern Virginia area.

In January 2004, he was joined in business by Frank Hardesty and Paul Battista, forming the H2 Land Company. Mr. Hardesty is President and owner of Brothers Concrete Company, one of the DC area's largest concrete contractors for the past twenty years. Mr. Battista is President and owner of Brothers Paving & Concrete, providing service to commercial and residential property owners and contractors throughout the Washington DC area.

Field management is led by Chris Butkus, formerly with William A. Hazel, Inc.

Land acquisition and brokerage services is led by Ted Diss, with over 20 years of Northern Virginia experience.
